New Callaway Range For 2008 - 9 January 2008
Callaway Golf have a great new line up of products for 2008 which is, according to the Callaway CEO and President the deepest and most robust new line up of products they have ever offered.
Technology has always played a big part in Callaway Golf club development, with composite materials, club geometry and so on always key areas of product creation, and 2008 is no different. There will new Callaway Fusion products, including a fairway wood that is square, new X series clubs, the latest incarnation of Big Bertha irons and also new Callaway golf balls.
The wide variety of new Callaway Golf products will not all appear at once but they should start appearing in retailers and pro shops across the country as the year progresses, so look out for breaking news on each fantastic new piece of golf equipment as it is made available.
As already stated, Callaway Golf products harness technology for maximum benefit, creating golf clubs that offer the player every possible advantage scientifically optimised materials and designs can provide. The new range for 2008 will use these scientific elements to give the player more forgiveness, more accuracy, better control and longer distance.
The New Callaway Golf FT-I Squareway Wood - 8 January 2008
Callaway Golf, having given us the square driver are now bringing this innovative style to the fairway, with the FT-I Squareway fairway wood.
Using the composite material build technology seen to such good effect in the Fusion range the Callaway FT-I Squareway gives the player greater forgiveness through an oversized head as well as supreme stability upon impact.
The design of this new fairway wood is such that the moment of inertia is very close to that provided by the equivalent drivers and the family resemblance is very noticeable, both visually and performance-wise.
New Callaway Golf FT Irons - 8 January 2008
The new Callaway Golf irons, FT, are as full of technology as any golf iron has ever been, which is a Callaway trait of course and one that has enabled them to be one of the most respected golf club manufacturers in the world.
The new Callaway FT irons have a clubface made of titanium, allowing almost four fifths of the weight to be transferred to the club perimeter and therefore a greater moment of inertia. The new Callaway iron also sports a thermoplastic urethane insert to help the ball fire off the clubhead.
Looking at the clubhead itself the FT iron has a thinner topline which aids addressing the ball as well as proving more attractive to look at. The new irons are also less offset than previous models further enhancing their beauty.
