New From TaylorMade Golf : Ghost Series Putters

14 April 2011:

TaylorMade Golf has just added three more putters to the Ghost range, one blade and two mallet style. The Ghost putters are instantly recognisable due to their white finish, as seen on the Rossa Corza Ghost putter last year.

Simply by their white finish these TaylorMade Ghost putters help alignment by contrasting well on the green but the addition of three bold black lines on the top of each of the putters further aids the golfer in this respect. However it is the face of these new TaylorMade putters that is set to really help roll those putts in. A new Pure Roll face insert has been used which helps stop the ball skidding thanks to the grooved face, leading to a smooth and true roll of the ball. The grooves also help provide plenty of feel when playing each putt.

As well as the new for 2011 TaylorMade Corza Ghost putter there is a Ghost TM-Tour 110 which is a heel and toe weighted putter as seen in Paula Creamer’s bag when she won the US Open. The heel and toe weighting is also adjustable to get just the right feel for each individual golfer.

The two mallet style putters in the TaylorMade Ghost range are the TM-Tour 770 and TM-Tour 880. The mid-size TM-Tour 770 has a single bend neck and small weighting ports in the heel. This is the same putter as used by Rory Sabbatini which saw him win the Honda Classic in 2011. Slightly smaller is the TM-Tour 880, which features the same weights as the 770 but has a different neck and hosel.
